Finally!
…oh man.
I fixed it.
So, we had a big, awesome party at Little Oviedo.
Life Goal #2 completed: 4th of July party with grilled hot dogs, fireworks, and cheesecake (icecream) on-a-stick. (No, it wasn’t icecream. The on-a-stick was my consolation prize for thinking I couldn’t find cheesecake icecream that would be GF.) Everything else was a nice bonus. The fireworks were pretty amazing, too. Thanks [Paden|paden], [Larry|larry], and [Casey|caseymp3]! Your acrobatic skillz were somethin else.
The cheesecake was very happy to be eaten.
And, we were very happy to eat the cheesecake.
Seriously – put anything on a stick and people will be more excited to eat it.
We even had the Declaration of Independence read. Though, some of us missed it because they were too busy playing volleyball.
Next year: War reenactment! (Though, probably more like Capture the Flag…)
